3 Ingredients Pancakes
Breakfast is perhaps the most important meal of the day, because it allows the body to refuel after a long period of fasting. Research shows that kids who eat breakfast have more energy throughout the day, are more likely to participate in physical activities and do better in school. This meal should be rich in protein and good carbohydrates like the whole-grain type, instead of sugary process food.
Below is a super easy option to power your kids brain.
What do you need?
1 Ripe banana
1 Egg
1 Tbsp. Oat flour
1 Tsp. Butter
What to do?
Mash the banana on a plate
Mix in the blender the mashed banana, the egg and the out flour
Preheat a pan on low heat and add the butter
Scoop the batter with a 1/3 cup, add to the pan and spread with the back of the cup / spoon to shape as a circle
Cover the pan for a minute or so and then check the underside to verify if it is cooked
Once is cooked the underside should be golden brown and you should be able to see bubbles
Flip the pancake and cook until golden brown
Serve hot and drizzle with honey or maple syrup
